if u missed what this is about here is a recap:
[glow=red,2,300]WE HAVE 1 FINAL SHOT AT SAVING TRU TO VOTE NOW GO TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST!!
DEADLINE MARCH 12TH!
Don't look now, but it's happening again.
All across this land we like to call Hell-Ay, TV execs are formulating their plan of attack for fall, deciding whether some of our favorite shows will--or won't--live to seen another season. (Hear that? It's my therapy bill cha-chinging.)
To make matters worse, we die-hard fans are expected to sit idly by (as if we had any patience whatsoever), waiting to see what will make the cut when the new schedules are announced in May.
But that's not gonna happen--not on my watch. Instead, per usual, we seasoned couch taters are going get off those cushions and do something, before it's too late, in order to prevent our faves from falling off the grid.
Yes, ladies and gentletubers, it's time for our fifth annual S.O.S.: Save One Show Campaign, and in case you need a refresher, here's how it works:
(1) Study up: This column lists the TV series that are in danger of cancellation. So you know exactly where they stand, they're listed in groups from those in the most danger (the Code Red shows) to those most secure (the Code Green shows).
(2) Vote! You pick the one show--only one!--you absolutely cannot live without. And then vote for it here! If you're rallying for a show that isn't on our list, email me and put the show's name as your subject line.
I will tally the votes to find a winner, then write up a big fancy column telling the world why this show must go on, and also, send out that plea to the network execs who are deciding your show's fate.
(3) Tell a friend: We all know from those godforsaken Nielsens that there is strength in numbers. So, I also encourage you to not only vote, but to send the link to this column to everyone you know. The more votes you tally, the louder you'll be.
We can make a difference, faithful tubers. So, please, choose wisely.
CODE BLACK: Dead
Tru Calling (Fox): Gail Berman put the nail in the coffin last month, when she confirmed to reporters at the winter press tour that Tru Calling would not be coming back for another season but that the final six episodes (which I hear are unbelievable) would be aired. Still, one look at my email inbox and it's clear the fans are not giving up.
TIME TO VOTE!!
