there are movies with certain things that tend to send chills up your spine. what does that to you?
for me:
dolls. seeing child's play when i was really little & then my older brother taking the chuckie doll & putting it in my bed when i was sleeping are the reasons i have never owned a doll in my life.
animals not all animals, just dogs (when they add stuff to them, like glowing eyes) now this is an odd one. when i was little, (before i saw my 1st scary movie) i had a nightmare where i was walking in my house and my dog came around the corner and had glowing eyes. a few years later, i saw pet semetery 2 for the 1st time, that scene where the dog came around the corner w/ glowing eyes (just like in my nightmare) sent chills up my spine. i don't know why but that scared be badly. i still won't watch that movie again.
i remember playing a game when i was little, i can't remember the name but it involved doors of diff colors. the point was to go into a trance while someone rubbed your temples, you were supposed to pick a door and open it. inside you'd see the face of the devil. i saw a black dog with glowing eyes. what the heck is w/ me & dogs w/ glowing eyes!?
well, that's all for me.

What scares me? Almost same as you Dolls. Actually it's kinda a toss up of between dolls and clowns. Clowns are scary too. But it's mostly dolls. Dummies too.
And...
Ghosts Not the fakey movie ones. The real ones. Yes. I believe in ghosts. Call me weird if you wish, but yeah. If you see a chair move across the floor all by itself, or have all the appliances in your room turn on when you already shut them off, you would too, and it scares me.
And aren't black dogs supposed to mean death? Like isn't there a black dog that hangs around cemetaries? I'm not sure, but that's really weird. Dogs would scare me then too.

Please, yeah. I'd be too afraid to run a tape recorder in my room. I love reading about this stuff, but I could never hunt for them. My band director told me about this time at MSU when him and his friend did that, and later when he was cleaning a bathroom (He was a janitor to get him through college) this black thing like, jumped out at him. He said he would never do it again. I had enough fun with my late grandpa and the chair. (I was in 5th grade. it scared the pants off me)

im just not afraid of dolls. i guess thats cause i know that if one gave me trouble i could feed it to my dog and it would be a pile of dog-crap the next day.sh-sh-sha![ my catch phrase ]

My dog would take one look at it, wet himself, and run for the hills. My cat might squish it though. he's like, thirty pounds. the thing that really gets me about dolls, is that a kid might buy it at a garage sale, and be so happy to have it, and then it like comes to life and tries to kill them, and the kid feels so hurt, and they don't understand. That's what's really scary about dolls. Dray clean only! (My catch phrase)

yes, you can kick a doll across the room with the rush u get when u're scared, but what about the "other" doll, the mannequine, those things really freak u out sometimes. & locogaomon is right, the eyes are part of it, but there is also the fact that it looks so real (the glass ones) & their eyes seem to follow u where ever you go, you just expect them to blink or say something, it's spooky. also another freaky doll, the ventriloquist dummy.

Dummies! Ahh! Those things are flippin creepy! (Can I say flippin here? Let me know if I can't.) I saw that episode of the twilight zone where the Dummie is coming after the guy, when I was like five, and I have never been able to recover. Those things scare the pants off me.

here's that ghost thing i wrote:
When one moves into a new house, one tries to get a feel for the new surroundings. You take in the sights, the sounds, and the smells in the house and the area around it. One might think about, “what are the neighbors like?” Not many think about something like, “are the old owners still around?” that is, the ones that are dead, specifically, the ones that died IN that house. That thought might never cross your mind. I didn’t think about that either, until we encountered them.
We first moved into our new house in 1990. It was bigger than our old house and we liked it. We had been living there for a little over a week; I was alone in the living room. Suddenly I had this urge to look over into the dinning room, and that’s when I saw it. She was a woman that was glowing white; she looked like a skeleton and had long stringy hair. She was walking towards me, but it seemed more like she was gliding. She then disappeared as suddenly as she had appeared.
When I had seen her, I felt a sudden chill run up my spine. My heart pounded because of the shock of seeing her. When she disappeared, I had an overwhelming feeling of excitement. I wasn’t the only one to have an encounter with our “guests.” My mom and dad were watching TV when they saw a little girl walk up the stairs. My dad asked, “what is Suzie still doing up?” My mom replied, saying, “That wasn’t Suzie.”
Jeannette and Chris smelled pipe smoke upstairs, specifically in my brother, Chris’ room, which is now my room. We figured that it was an old man’s ghost upstairs. I don’t remember if anyone slept upstairs that night or not.
There were more experiences as well, but these were the first. Ever since then, I’ve been very interested in ghosts and would love to be a paranormal investigator. But for right now, I’ll just join the ghost hunter club.

Yay! I can say flippin, but I don't that much anyway. whoa...What Rika24 said about her house...that's freaky. I didn't think anything about our house until recently, when stuff started to to missing, and everything kept turning on. My friend says there's something by the door, but I don't want to think that. Good luck with becoming a paranormal investigator. I know I'd be too afraid to do that.

hey, urban legends are scary. I mean, you got El Chupacabra. My grandma used to talk about him all the time. She would hear stories about goats getting sucked dry. It was scary when I was little.
